Posted by: Stuti Jain

As soon as we step out of the house, we always wonder if we forgot something, and this annoying feeling doesn’t leave us till we return to our threshold. Here’s an ultimate checklist of all the essentials you need to carry while traveling so that you can wave goodbye to that nagging feeling.

Medical Kit

It’s better to be safe than sorry. Make sure you have your prescription pills on hand, as well as some other prescriptions, in case you become ill due to a headache, stomach problem, or other ailments. Make a tiny, portable first-aid kit with medicines for all the possible allergies and keep it with you wherever you travel.

Documentation

Last-minute haphazard always leaves us missing out on the important documentation. Ensure that all the documents are ready beforehand and recheck once before stepping out of the door. A travel wallet is precisely what you require. It can be used to keep a track of all of your critical documents, including your passport, AADHAR card, and trip tickets. You can use them to store currencies, credit cards, hotel key cards, and a variety of other items in addition to your paperwork.

Well Planned Set of Clothes

While packing, the destination should always be kept in mind. If you’re going somewhere cold, pack cardigans, sweaters, and other winter clothes. If you're going to the beach, though, casual, light clothing will suffice. It is always safe to carry an extra set of clothes in the baggage, just in case the airline misplaces the baggage. It is necessary to keep in mind the number of clothes being packed, as too many clothes will further add to the baggage weight

Portable Charger and Charging Chords

Most of us think that phones die when we need them the most! Thus, power banks and charging chords should be the most important travel essential. Today, however magnificent the thunderstorm may be, phones are our lifeboat.

Face Masks and Sanitizers

The pandemic took a heavy toll on each one of us and completely shattered our travel plans, it advisable to wear face masks in public and keep a few masks spare. Make sure these masks are comfortable to use for an extended period of time. Along with these masks, have a small bottle of hand sanitizer in your handbag because tourist spots receive a large number of people on a regular basis, and it's critical that you maintain your safety and hygiene.

Packing can be tiresome, thus we have tried to devise a complete packing list for you. Let’s convert this bane task into one of the happiest tasks. Happy Packing!
